The new Byd Han makes its debutThe new car's exterior design continues the 2025 model's design, featuring a continuous front fascia connected to the narrow headlight clusters on either side, a through-type trapezoidal heat dissipation opening on the front bumper, and longitudinally arranged air vents on both sides. The overall front fascia retains BYD's classic "dragon face" signature. Furthermore, the new car now offers a new "Frost Gold" exterior color option.
The new car features a sharp waistline and concealed door handles, while the wheels are a two-tone design. The rear of thE Car retains the same through-type taillights, with a Chinese knot-inspired design, making them highly recognizable when lit. Dimensionally, both the DM-i and EV models measure 4995mm in length, 1910mm in width, and 1495mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2920mm.
The new car's interior retains the overall design of the 2025 model, but with some minor tweaks. For example, the new car features an electronic hand-shift mechanism, an optimized center console area, additional storage space, and a revised layout of physical buttons. Regarding features, it's currently known that the new car will include an onboard refrigerator.
In terms of powertrain, specific specifications for the plug-in hybrid and pure electric versions have not yet been announced, but are expected to be the same as the current models. For reference, the current DM-i plug-in hybrid version is equipped with a 1.5T plug-in hybrid system, with a maximum engine power of 115 kW and a maximum electric motor power of 200 kW, matched with an 18.316 kWh battery pack, and a pure electric range of 125 kilometers. Its intelligent driving version will also be equipped with the Yunnian-C intelligent damping body control system. The current EV pure electric version uses a single motor and is available in three maximum power options of 150 kW, 168 kW, and 180 kW. The cruising range under CLTC conditions is 506 km, 605 km, and 701 km respectively. The 605 km and 701 km versions also feature a full-range 800V high-voltage platform.
