The 2026 Volkswagen Tayron L has been launched, equipped with the third-generation EA888 engine.

The new model retains the exterior, interior, and powertrain of the current model, with adjustments mainly made to the configuration.
In terms of specific configuration changes, the standard tires on all 2026 Tayron L models will be changed to optional equipment, and 40W wireless charging will be added; the Elite version will add matrix headlights and a large screen as optional equipment, and the Bluetooth key will be removed.
In terms of power, the 300TSI model is equipped with an EA211 1.5T engine, with a maximum power of 118 kW and a maximum torque of 250 Nm; the 330TSI is equipped with a third-generation EA888 2.0T engine, with a maximum power of 137 kW and a maximum torque of 320 Nm.
The 380TSI is equipped with the third-generation EA888 2.0T high-power engine, with a maximum power of 162 kW and a maximum torque of 350 Nm. All models are matched with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission.
